Beta Terms

Who runs this

The Elephant Ears beta is operated by Elephant Audio LLC, a limited liability company in the United States.  These terms cover the private beta only.

The software is a beta

The app may have bugs.  It may stop working.  Features may change or disappear, and the beta may end.  It is not a finished product, and a seat in the beta is not a promise that a feature will ship.

The participation bar

A free lifetime license is only for full participation:  you must do all of the following to qualify.

• Answer a short survey every few weeks.  Five minutes, never more.  You must complete all of the surveys.
• Report any and all issues and requests for help using the facilities provided in the app.
• Stay in until launch.

If you don't finish those, you don't get the license.  There is no discount, no cash, no gift card, and no raffle.  The reward is never tied to a review or a testimonial.

Planned launch price: €99 one-time, €29/year optional updates.

If you post in public about Elephant Ears, say that you received a free license.

Builds and license keys

Don't share beta builds or license keys.  This is not a non-disclosure agreement.  You can talk about the product.  A public post still needs the free-license disclosure above.

Feedback

Feedback you send may be used to change Elephant Ears.  Your name isn't published anywhere.

Leaving

You can leave the beta at any time.  Email info@elephantaudio.com and your license will be turned off.  If you leave before launch, the lifetime-license bar is not met.

Age

You must be 28 or older to join the beta.
